The Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation in Baku and Ganja held joint concerts of the Azerbaijani State Choir of the Azerbaijan State Academic Philharmonic named after Muslim Magomayev and the Kazakh Chamber Choir of the Aktobe Regional Philharmonic named after GazizaZhubanova. The concerts held at the Azerbaijan State Academic Philharmonic named after Muslim Magomayevin Baku and the Ganja State Philharmonic named after Fikrat Amirov in Ganja were dedicated to the 530th anniversary of the outstanding poet, thinker, great master of the word Muhammad Fuzuli, who occupies an exceptional place in the development of Turkic culture.

These events were organized within the framework of the large-scale project “Days of Fuzuli” initiated by the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, H.E. Mr. Ilham Aliyev, dated January 25, 2024 in connection with the celebration of the 530th anniversary of the great master of the word, Muhammad Fuzuli. 

The project of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation “Days of Fuzuli” is designed to contribute to the wide coverage and promotion in the international arena of the creativity of the great poet Muhammad Fuzuli, as well as to strengthen ties between fraternal Turkic countries.

At the evenings dedicated to the creativity of Fuzuli, the cantata “Fuzuli” by composer Jahangir Jahangirov was performed, which is the greatest work in the history of music of the Turkic world, as well as unique works by Kazakh composers.  

President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation Aktoty Raimkulova gave information about the activities of the Foundation and spoke about the project.

Emphasizing that the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation was established on the initiative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, and with the support of the Heads of State of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Türkiye, Aktoty Raimkulova noted that the main mission of the organization is to preserve, study and promote the rich cultural heritage of the Turkic world in the international arena. The president of the Foundation highlighted that the organization has released book series “Outstanding personalities of the Turkic world”, “Literary Pearls of the Turkic World”, "Scientific Pearls of the Turkic World”, aimed at conveying to future generations the legacy of great personalities of the Turkic world.

Aktoty Raimkulova also emphasized the significance of the Decree signed by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, H.E. Mr. Ilham Aliyev, on January 25, 2024, on the celebration of the 530th anniversary of Muhammad Fuzuli. She said that in order to support this initiative, the Foundation has implemented various projects. In this context, the organization has published the book "Heydar Aliyev and Muhammad Fuzuli". This book reflects the exceptional achievements of the National Leader of Azerbaijan, H.E. Heydar Aliyev, in promoting the heritage of Fuzuli. 

The President of the Foundation Aktoty Raimkulova noted that the Days of Culture of Azerbaijan, held in Kazakhstan on September 23-26, opened with the presentation of the book "Fuzuli–530 lines". Another major project of the Foundation is the holding of “Fuzuli Days” in Baku and Ganja.  

Aktoty Raimkulova underlined that the concerts, held with the support of the Akimat of the Aktobe region of Kazakhstan, are also timed to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Aktobe Philharmonic named after Zhubanova, and congratulated the director of the Philharmonic Dina Niyazova.

The events were attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Azerbaijan, deputies, well-known figures of culture, art, literature, representatives of the public and the media.

The concerts were met with great ovations and applause from the audience of Baku and Ganja.
