President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation Aktoty Raimkulova attended the II International Forum of Maqom Art, which is taking place in Zaamin city of Jizzakh region, Uzbekistan on June 27-30. The opening ceremony of the Forum was held on June 27.

The ceremony was attended by President of the Republic of Uzbekistan H.E. Mr. Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Chairman of the 42nd session of UNESCO Simona-Mirela Miculescu, Director General of ICESCO Salim bin Mohammed al-Malik, Secretary General of TURKSOY Sultan Raev, Secretary General of TURKPA Mehmet Sureyya Er, Chief Adviser to the President of Türkiye Yalçın Topçu, Adviser to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Malik Otarbayev, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Abdullo Rakhmonzoda , Minister of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan Adil Karimli, Minister of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic Altynbek Maksutov, Deputy Secretary General of the CIS Nurlan Seitimov, Secretary General of the International Folklore Organization for the Asian Region Moon Hyung Suk, and other officials, representatives of the diplomatic corps of foreign states accredited in Uzbekistan.

It should be noted that about 400 guests from more than 80 countries of the world are taking part in the Forum.
