President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation Aktoty Raimkulova attended the conference "TURKTIME: Unity of Media and Tourism of Turkic countries" within the framework of the 4th media forum of Turkic journalists organized by the Turkic-speaking Journalists Foundation. 
Speaking at the event Aktoty Raimkulova gave information about the activities of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation and underlined the importance in the modern era of promoting the rich heritage, culture and centuries-old history of the Turkic peoples: "Today, the preservation and transfer to the younger generation of the material and cultural values of the Turkic peoples, as well as ensuring the popularization of the rich heritage of our ancestors is a primary task for the countries of the Turkic world. In this direction, the Foundation is preparing a multilingual catalog of objects of the common Turkic cultural heritage “TurkHeritage”, implements International educational programs for the exchange of experience, opens Centers of cultural heritage of the Turkic peoples at the bases of higher educational institutions of various countries of the Turkic world, conducts restoration and museum works of a number of important architectural monuments and ancient Turkic manuscripts, publishes books, actively conducts work on the preparation of documentation on submitting applications to the representative UNESCO World Heritage List of common Turkic cultural values, such as the epics “Alpamys Batyr", “Koroglu", “Korkut Ata", the art of “Gurama”, etc.
In this context, the President of the Foundation emphasized the role of the media: "The media is an essential tool for promoting the rich history and heritage of the Turkic world. They contribute to the preservation of cultural identity, the formation of educational and cultural ties between the Turkic peoples, and also help spread information about Turkic culture and history around the world. Therefore, the Turkic-speaking Journalists Foundation, which aims to share experiences among the media of the Turkic-speaking peoples, is important in this area today".
