During a working visit to France, President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation Aktoty Raimkulova met with the Assistant Director-General for Priority Africa and External Relations at UNESCO Anthony Kwaku Ohemeng-Boamah. 

The meeting highlighted the activities of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation for the preservation, popularization and transmission from generation to generation of the centuries-old rich historical and cultural heritage of the Turkic peoples. The cooperation of the Foundation with the national commissions of the Turkic states for UNESCO in the field of protection and promotion of cultural values of the Turkic peoples was noted. Attention was paid to the work carried out by the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation on the preparation of the "List of the Cultural Heritage of the Turkic World”, which is one of the main directions of the organization within the framework of the concept “Turkic World Vision – 2040".
 
During the conversation, it was stressed that the Foundation is ready to cooperate with the Turkic states to prepare and include transnational nominations in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

At the same time, the Foundation's projects  within the framework of the TURKTIME strategic program for the restoration and creation of a digital platform in order to preserve the Turkic cultural heritage, were underlined. 

The meeting continued with an exchange of views on joint cooperation between the Foundation and UNESCO, and an agreement was reached to sign a Memorandum of Understanding.
