President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation Aktoty Raimkulova met with the Minister of Culture of Uzbekistan Ozodbek Nazarbekov during an official visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan.
At the meeting Aktoty Raimkulova underlined the holding at the high level of the opening ceremony of the 13th “Sharg taronalari” (“Melodies of the East”) International Music Festival in Samarkand, Uzbekistan.
During the conversation, issues of mutual partnership of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation with the Republic of Uzbekistan were discussed.
The significance of expanding cooperation with Uzbekistan in the direction of the creation by the Foundation of a regulatory document in the field of preservation and promotion of tangible and intangible values of the Turkic countries, a digital platform for the Turkic cultural heritage, as well as the organization's celebration of the 950th anniversary of Divani Lugat at-turk at UNESCO headquarters this year was emphasized.
The meeting continued with an exchange of views on issues of mutual interest.
