President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation Aktoty Raimkulova met with the president of the 42nd session of the UNESCO General Conference Simona - Mirela Miculescu during a working visit to France.
The meeting highlighted the activities of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation for the preservation, research and popularization of the ancient and rich culture of the Turkic peoples.
During the conversation, the Foundation's projects were announced within the framework of the TURKTIME strategic development program, adopted by the Heads of the Turkic countries at the Summit of the Organization of Turkic States in Astana on November 3 last year.
Attention was paid to the work carried out by the Foundation within the framework of the concept "Turkic World Vision – 2040" on the preparation of the "List of Cultural Heritage of the Turkic World".
The interaction of the Foundation with the National commissions of the Turkic states for UNESCO was also noted at the meeting. During the conversation, the Foundation's projects within the framework of UNESCO, which are planned to be implemented this year, were highly appreciated.
