On October 9, 2024 a round table was organized in Baku on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the famous poet, literary critic, translator, journalist Adil Jamil. 

Speaking at the event, President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation Aktoty Raimkulova congratulated Adil Jamil on his anniversary. She emphasized that Adil Jamil made an important contribution not only to Azerbaijani literature, but also to the culture of the entire Turkic world. 

"Adil Jamil devoted his whole life to the development of the culture of the Turkic world. His works are among the most precious pearls of our national identity and common Turkic culture,” Raimkulova said. 

Aktoty Raimkulova also underlined that the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation appreciates the great achievements of Adil Jamil: “The Foundation has published a monograph The Manas Epic and Turkic Epic Tradition" by Adil Jamil, as well as a book of poems by the prominent Kyrgyz writer Alykul Osmonov “From time to time” translated by Adil Jamil. These works are important tools to convey the rich heritage of the Turkic world to future generations”.  

Then Aktoty Raimkulova awarded Adil Jamil on behalf of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation and presented him with a gift on the occasion of the anniversary. 

The event was attended by well-known figures of the literary and cultural community of Azerbaijan. The participants of the event emphasized the significance of Adil Jamil's literary heritage and contributions to the Turkic world and noted that his work will become a source of inspiration for the younger generation.
