On 22 April, Ms. Aktoty Raimkulova, President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, attended the Opening Ceremony of the Turkic Week in Geneva. The event, held at the UN premises, was opened by esteemed figures including the Director General of the UN Office in Geneva, Tatiana Valovaya, the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the UN, Mr. Yerlan Alimbayev - the Chairing country at the OTS, and the OTS Secretary General, Mr. Kubanychbek Omuraliev.

Dignitaries such as heads of international organizations, diplomatic corps stationed in Geneva, heads of Turkic Cooperation Organizations, and various guests were also in attendance. The ceremony was followed by a vibrant Exhibition of the Turkic World, showcasing a range of cultural items including photographs, handicrafts, paintings, national costumes, jewelry, and traditional cuisine to provide a glimpse into the rich heritage of the Turkic nations.

The events not only celebrated the cultural diversity of the Turkic world but also provided a platform for insightful discussions on achieving sustainable development goals through collaboration and cooperation. The Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation is one of the co-organizers of the "Turkic Week in Geneva".
