Within the framework of the Days of Culture of Azerbaijan, organized on September 23-26, 2024 in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, theNational Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted a presentation of the book"Fuzuli-530 lines" published by the Foundationof Turkic Culture and Heritage in the Kazakhlanguage, and a literary and poetic meeting on the topic "Fuzuli – 530".

It should be noted that the book of the greatAzerbaijani poet, the classic of Turkic literatureMuhammad Fuzuli, which includes 22 ghazalsand 6 kasyds - 530 lines, is dedicated to the530th anniversary of the poet. The purpose of the publication of the book by the Foundation isto further popularize the legacy of the great poetin Kazakhstan, as well as to promote thedeepening of Azerbaijani-Kazakh literary and cultural ties. The head and author of the projectis the President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, Professor AktotyRaimkulova.

The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Culture and Information of theRepublic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, scientists, cultural figures of the two countries and otherguests.

Speaking at the presentation president of theTurkic Culture and Heritage Foundation AktotyRaimkulova noted that the historical Decreesigned on January 25 this year by the Presidentof the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyevon the celebration of the 530th anniversary of Muhammad Fuzuli creates new opportunities forstudying and promoting the heritage of Fuzuli.

Aktoty Raimkulova underlined the significanceof such publications in terms of the integration of Turkic languages: "We must return to the worksof our classics, to their spirit, to our nationalidentity."

In the artistic part of the event, the reader, actorfrom Azerbaijan Huseynagha Aslanov and actress Jala Novruzova performed Fuzulighazals. Azerbaijani khanande – laureates of national and international competitions OrhanHuseynli and Leyla Rahimova performedmughams on the Fizuli ghazals. Actors fromKazakhstan Kazbek Iskara and Guldana Alikhanpresented samples of translations of Fuzuli'spoems into Kazakh. The readers wereaccompanied by Honored Artist of AzerbaijanToghrul Asadullayev (kamancha) and laureate of national and international competitions Ibrahim Babayev (tar).
